Mattawa Voyageur Curling Club 2018-19 Season Is Underway
The MVCC has put in the hours in and have held a number of meetings in preparing for the upcoming season. More so, volunteers have been working tirelessly in getting the facility in the great playing condition is is always in. This comes in terms of preparing the ice, painting lines, installing houses, and having the clubhouse in tidy order to house it’s members and visitors.
Since then, the season has started on November 18th. Men’s nights are at 7:00PM on Mondays, Tuesdays are youth curling, Women’s/Mixed Nights are Wednesdays at 7PM, and there is open curling Wednesdays at 1PM.
The Huard’s Open Bonspiel is set for January 4th-6th 2019 and is always a great time for all. Check out our events page for more information. The club hopes to reintroduce the Women’s Bonspiel if the interest is there and then there will also be a 2-day Funspiel in February 2019.
